This recipe is a little on the bland side but still really good. I used shredded carrots instead of sliced carrots. I added more spiced than called for and still found it a tad bland but I will know for next time. I used a glass 9x9 square pan instead of a pie pan it took 28 minutes in the oven. Oh I also added more chicken broth and heavy cream but after measuring the required amount I didn't measure with anything other than my heart. Overall 8.5/10
