This came out so chocolatey and yummilicious! I don’t have an ice cream maker so I spun it in my Vitamix with one cup of ice. Also, when I sifted the cocoa, I put a tablespoon of dark instant coffee in the mix and sifted it as well. I also added a about 60 chocolate chips to the custard while it was cooking in a double boiler. When the ice cream was still in soft serve, I added 1/2 cup of chopped chocolate chips. It is so delicious! You’ll make this every time you want ice cream and this reminds me more of a gelato than ice cream. It’s so creamy and silky on the palate.
