I swapped the normal self raising for wholemeal. I forgot the sugar by mistake, but it still turned out ok. It was still good, though my son didn’t isn’t like it as much.
I made it again and added 1/2 tablespoon of sweetener, and two tablespoons of protein powder. It was much easier to get it to cook evenly so a bit of sweetener seems to be important.
With the protein it was very filling, I ended up eating less and enjoying it just as much.
