I got very nervous about this when I made it for a dinner party for six. There was so much liquid in the dish halfway through the simmering process. So, I added a cornflour and water paste mix to thicken and it was great. I wasn’t courageous enough to add the cream cheese at the end as I wasn’t confident that it would taste right after adding the cornflour. I will try it again when I’m not entertaining and see how it goes with the cream cheese.
