Thumbs down because it's a good IDEA for a recipe, but this is NOT a moussaka recipe. This is much more of a ratatouille recipe in both taste and texture. It was so soupy in the pot (I didn't have a large enough pan) that I had to add corn startch during the boil stage. After discovering that the second part of the recipe is so ambiguity as to be unintelligible, I threw my hands up in frustration, added a good amount of shredded mozzarella cheese, baked everything, and called it good. Topped it with a bit of fetta cheese that I had in the fridge. Once the recipe was adjusted so, it was very tasty. My kids loved it, my husband had thirds.
But overall since the recipe is impossible to follow for the second half, and because it is a ratatouille recipe and not a moussaka recipe like it claims, thumbs down on the recipe.
