Wow! The gravy in this recipe was AMAZING! Not having any Nutmeg or Allspice I did substitute both for 1 Tsp of Garam Masala. I thought I made the right choice. I also used ground grass fed Angus. I rolled the meatballs into 1” rounds thinking such lean beef would be dry and mealy if they were any bigger and they came out excellent. Served it over egg noodles and the dinner was a huge success

can you taste the difference when you use grass fed? always been curious.

Sorry, only just saw this. To be honest, I found the focus of this dish was the gravy. I used grass fed because it was all I had but the texture of the meat was a little different due to less fat content, not so much the taste.
