I don't really like mushrooms so I left those out and subbed in half of an onion instead. I also added a seasoned grilled chicken breast, chopped up into bite sized pieces, to add more protein. It was already cooked ahead of time so I added it with the green beans before baking. I left out the breaded onions for the topping and just topped with pork rinds and cheese alone. It came out so delicious!! Be sure to taste the cream cheese sauce and season to taste with some salt and pepper before adding the green beans though. Otherwise it's a little bland. I also used an extra clove of garlic because I love garlic :) I really can't see this being 8 servings as a main course though; especially if you don't add the chicken or another protein. As it's written, it feels more like a side dish.
