Picture does not do it justice! This is one of my husband's favorites. I do a few mods: any color bell pepper, add some sliced mushrooms, chop up some onion, use fresh pineapple (puree some for the sauce). Saute the veg and fruit to soften a bit (I use the meatball pan once they are out), then make the sauce in a pot without the chunks. Pour sauce over sauteed stuff and mix. You choose whether to mix meatballs in or keep on the side to dole out evenly.
