Special occasion
I wanted to use a red velvet for my flag cake this year because it’s already supposed to be red. I don’t usually eat red velvet and this one threw me off a little. The chocolate was there, but it was so subtle that, combined with the color, I couldn’t really name the taste I got. Maybe add more cocoa powder to the recipe for a real kick of chocolate.
