Good feedback. This recipe usually overpowers. Can I ask how long you marinated for? Did you use the lemon (only because I don’t see it in the pic)? Constructive thoughts always welcome!

I didn't marinate very long. Only 15 minutes. I'm usually an overnight marinate person. I did use the lemon. The saffron came through well but the rest just didn't seem to have much flavor. I think quartered potatoes would also be better.

Thank you Lindsey. That gives me frame of reference. It really does need the 8 -12 hours suggested to render flavour. I hate to disappoint, so when I hear that a recipe that I publish doesn’t work, I want to adjust to make sure it does.
I like the repurposing of leftovers! Way to keep the family interested. ❤️
