It was very creamy and tasty and I like that it was all done in one pot. I wondered if some of the steps could have been combined e.g. the asparagus and onion (I didn't use garlic). Also, my parmesan was shaved, not shredded. I didn't think that would make much difference but it did really thicken up considerably. So it possibly would have been better with shredded parm. I will make it again as I did love the asparagus done this way.
