I loved the idea of this recipe but had to make significant adjustments to accommodate a teenage bottomless pit.
I used 4lbs of ground beef total and doubled the onion and green pepper. Cooked it in a Dutch oven. I did NOT increase the soup or cheese and the consistency of the mixture was perfect. Moist, but not so messy that it's soupy. Seasonings were adjusted to taste, we like strong flavors.
The teenage bottomless pit LOVED it and ate all the leftovers. This was super quick and easy to make, I will make it again.
