Been our go to for over 10 years. Great to eat by itself or as a filling for layered cakes. Don’t let the 3.7 star rating fool you. It’s delicious and I like not having to worry about raw eggs. This is another recipe my daughter learned to make at a young age because she loved it so much. Sometimes she freezes a small serving to eat like ice cream. Sometimes we also buy store bought individual pie crusts and fill them and serve plain, topped with raspberries, or topped with whipped cream.
