It was easy to put together. I used salt and pepper sausage I had in the freezer, so I didn't end up mixing anything just layered it in the pan. I used more sauce than was called for - 2 full jars. It made a lot! I didn't add any extra seasoning, and I feel that the sausage (salt and pepper) was more than enough -- tasted a little salty. Next time I will try sage or maybe a little spicy sausage and mix it with ground beef. Would definitely make it again.
