It was delicious! I made a pack of bacon and used some of the grease to cook the onions, garlic and cabbage. I crumbled up about 6 slices of bacon and added it to the dish. I did not use any salt as the bacon was salty enough for us. I forgot to add the vinegar but plan to next time.
