They were pretty good, not fabulous because I may have used to much salt. So use a bit less than the recipe calls for and taste the batter. Also, I used anise oil instead of extract since I read that you can use half the portion of oil to extract and I already had the oil. I know I'm making them sound bad, but they're good. Next time I'll make a quarter batch to practice.
Keep in mind that the icing dries quickly, so ice and sprinkle as you go. Don't wait to long to sprinkle or the sprinkles won't stick into the icing.
