Forgot to get a photo of the actual cake interior! It was ok. Very sweet, but not yellow in color at all. It also did not rise much so it felt a bit dense, but I am sure I used the amount of baking powder called for and followed the recipe.
Got good feedback from the adults at the birthday party. The kids all wanted chocolate cake....
