← Replies in Baltimore-Style Crab Cakes Recipe

Anyone had G&M crabcakes near Baltimore? I put this up against them (they're so famous they ship frozen nationwide) and this recipe gave the restaurant a good run. On appearance, they're comparable (G&M left, this recipe right). Unfortunately, it all came down to the crabmeat itself. The restaurant simply has access to superior and phenomenal crab supply. Final family score G&M 9/10, Mom 8.9/10 😏

Have had G&M crab cakes and they are good. IMHO quality in house depends on thr crowd in the restaurant. Have had fantastic one and some that could have used a bit more time cooking. The black olive slice on top is a weird touch! Use Jumbo lump for the recipe to create a fantastic result!
