Good but a bit bland. I think it needs more salt and a few more spices cumin and tumeric alone cannot carry the dish. The bayleaf helped somewhat but I think the addition of something like coriander and something more savory may help.

Thyme goes well with coriander. So cumin, turmeric, coriander, thyme, & bay leaf. All good for Moroccan flavor but what about cinnamon? Or allspice?
