This is the second time I made this. The first time I made the recipe as written and made cookies. They were ok and so easy. I read some of the comments on the blog post for the recipe and made some changes this time. I sprinkled a teeny bit of salt, a sprinkle of nutmeg, and a good teaspoon of cinnamon. I also threw in half a cup of pulp leftover from making almond milk. My mix in was dried dates chopped up. I also just threw the whole mix into this greased 5x7 casserole dish. It took about 17 minutes at 350 and I let it sit 5 minutes. Then I cut it in half, and cut each half into thirds, and I got six squares. Served with a kale and sweet potato salad for breakfast. Yum!
