I've made this tiramisu at least a dozen times in the last few years. It's always delicious, and I get requests from my friends to make it. Two things I change: one, I always make my own ladyfingers (I find they absorb the liquid better and taste spongier). And two, I soak the ladyfingers in the rum/espresso mixture instead of drizzling it on. This does require you to make more of the mixture, but I think the flavor is much better. (Also, if you don't have rum on hand, Kahlua makes a great substitute!)
