Good base. I think all of the changes I plan on making are a matter of personal preference. I also used almond milk to make buttermilk and added powdered ranch seasoning to give it that really ranchy kick.
I used fresh dill and parsley and plan on trying dried next time. The dill was more overpowering than I would like, but it tasted better on salad than by itself. I also plan on using a teeny bit of xanthan gum to thicken it up a little.
