I felt like having something decadent and comforting with our Valentines steak dinner last night. This onion pie was perfect! The recipe is supposed to make individual pies, but I was too lazy for all of that work. I made my own pie crust and made it as 1 large pie. I didn’t have mustard powder, so I just used a squeeze of brown mustard & about 1/4 tsp of turmeric. Mine turned out a little loose, but I probably mis-measured the liquids. It was creamy and flavorful and just simply delicious.
