Tasty! Really liked the apples in there. Used a chorizo for the sausage. I think next time I would try a cheddar bratwurst, like someone else mentioned.

Plain pork sausages go well with this dish, apple and pork together are a British staple. I just don't think chorizo would work well bratwurst definitely would tho.
