This was good. I did not have carrots available but it still was good. I used broth as my liquid to cut down on how much salt I would have had to add to season just water. I also wanted more viscidity than water would have offered. I do not know if I missed a step or what but next time I'm going to cook the pasta before adding it to the pot because I put dry pasta in the soup and it sucked up all the water. That's probably my mistake! I WILL make this again!!
