Served with boiled eggs, potatoes and slices of ham (the kind you may put on a sandwich). Really not a meal that you can mess up.
Obviously you do need to make sure you clean the asparagus well enough because no one likes the stalky, hard parts. I always break mine rather than cutting the bottom and peel them thoroughly so it's no surprise that I buy the really big ones 😉
Made my sauce a bit too lemony and it needed to be thicker. The creamy texture and flavor is what you're looking for.
