This was very tasty and tangy. Instead of boiling vegetables, I cut them up and roasted them. I didn't have any red beets on hand, but used the yellow beets I had in stock. I didn't have sauerkraut, but had a small cabbage and made some fresh. For onions, I roasted up the leek that I had. At the end, I added some dill. Overall, very tasty, hubby approved! I would make this again!
