Thanks, yeah I really love the bigger portions for leftovers during the week or bigger groups. But then I sometimes mix up the spices a bit and maybe add a bit of Cayenne pepper for something a little more exciting, but this is definitely a safe and easy go to for a cozy soup.

I am not sure who started the meal exchange. There are usually 10 or less who participate each time. One person hosts and we gather at their house, bringing our own supplies and ingredients. We provide everything but the meat for our chosen recipe and make it as many times as there are people. At the end of the night you take one of each home and drop in the freezer. Where we live almost everyone has extra freezers so space for 10 ziplock bags of meals is never a problem. We meet every couple months.
