I did my chicken in the air fryer, which I did in small batches 5 minutes each side at 200 degrees Celsius. I also doubled the ingredients to make more though I kept the sugar amount the same as it felt excessive and increased the liquid ingredients ever so slightly. Really nice and easily the best thing I’ve ever made, tasted exactly like a dish from the Chinese. Will be sautéing some onions and peppers next time to bulk it out a wee bit and make it feel even more authentic.

Made it again last night with peppers and onions, meant there was leftovers for today too. Absolute result.
