Made this challah and a cinnamon raisin babka yesterday. I agree with the other commenter that said you may have to let the dough rise longer than just the machine dough cycle. I ended up using her boiling water trick with the bread machine insert in a cold oven and it started to rise a lot better. Got the filling for the babka from another website. Brown sugar, cinnamon, a little flour, and melted butter. Delicious. Both breads had a delicious crisp crust, soft inside. Won't let me post picture.
