Yeah my whole family said this is to never be spoken of again in our house 🤣. The idea of the bourbon sounded great for “Bourbon chicken”, but what a massive fail!

Of course! I was trying to experiment myself as well, and when I was taste testing toward the end it didn’t seem terrible. Once it was served up, the bourbon over powered everything. All I could smell was hot bourbon in my house for 24 hours. Lol. Stick with the chicken broth

It's really odd that this recipe recommended to add bourbon. The original Bourbon Chicken is named after Bourbon Street in New Orleans and doesn't contain bourbon. Thanks for the heads up!
