Note:
You can make your own tomato sauce :
Ingredients:
1tbsp olive oil
1/2 red onion
1 garlic clove
250g chopped tomatoes
1tbsp paprika
1tsp brown sugar
1tbsp dry basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Heat olive oil in a pan, add onion and garlic and stir occasionally. Fry for 2 minutes and add paprika, stir to coat and fry for another minute. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, dry basil and brown sugar, mix and cook for 10-15 minutes ( or until thickened) on medium heat. Remove from the heat and purée with an emulsion blender to give it a smooth consistency. Set aside to cool.
