Used this recipe as inspiration, however spice mix is missing a tsp of cinnamon, and cayenne isnt usually included. (would also use 1 tbsp of paprika rather than tsp) (1 tbsp of garlic powder is also easier than a clove). Traditional shawarma also uses tahini as a topping and Garlic sauce (toum) if anyone is interested in using these sauces next time, they really make the dish! As well as pickles for topping, lettuce and pickled turnips... Yum
