I was trying to see if I could recreate this smoked tomato soup from a restaurant. It did not have a very strong smoke flavor. I added some drops of liquid smoke as well as some worcestershire sauce. I also added Italian seasoning and no salt seasoning for more flavor as well as another tablespoon of tomato paste. I think next time I'm going to try to char the tomatoes before smoking them to see if I can make it naturally smoker and simmer the soup without the lid to concentrate it.
