Incredibly delicious, although I would only make as an occasional treat as it has quite sugary sauces included!
To make low FODMAP and to increase the healthiness of this dish I made the following amendments:
- whole garlic added to infuse (then removed at the end)
- asfoedia powder
- peppers instead of onion
- shredded carrot
- tenderstem broccoli
- no added sugar (definitely was not needed)
Next time I was thinking about adding some further greens (e.g. bok choi and the green ends of spring onions) to fill the dish out with more veg.
Garnished with lime at the end.
