IMO, cooking the chicken like that didn't add any extra flavour, and I lost a lot of the pesto when it stuck to the pot and the cooking utensils.
The oil from the tomatoes would have been enough without adding cooking oil to the pan. Or maybe the tomato oil was the problem... grease splatter for 18" around. And it wasn't exactly one-pot if I have to boil the pasta separately and clean everything in sight afterwards. Sorry.
The asparagus and tomato combination was lovely. I'll make that again, so thank you for that.
