I really liked these. I was confused by the reviews, though, because mine didn't come out dry at all. I wonder if in those cases the cakes were baked too long...? I checked mine frequently and pulled them out when just a little cake (not wet batter) came out on the toothpick and they were fantastic. I've also made these with chocolate chips in the batter (mix chips with a little flour before adding to keep them from sinking to the bottom) and received TONS of compliments with that modification as well. Now my go to chocolate cupcake recipe, so I will for sure make over and over again!
