Peel and cut up the pineapple into bite sized pieces. Put the butter, sugar (I used honey) , and spice in the pan, heat until butter is melted and you can smell it. Add the chopped pineapple. Continue to cook and stir occasionally until the pineapple becomes translucent. Next time I'll try canned pineapple.
