or 3/4 tsp ground

1 tspwhole allspice
or 1.5 tsp ground

1whole nutmeg
or 2.5 tsp ground

12 cupswater
12 for stronger apple flavor, 16 for a slightly more diluted flavor

½ cuppure maple syrup
or more or less to taste
