Ingredients
8 servings
1200gpeaches
sliced, or nectarines, or both pitted and sliced
1 cupblackberries
½ cupsugar
1 cupflour
30mllemon juice
fresh
⅓ cupwater
or 1/2 cup, if peaches/nectarines aren’t very ripe
1 cupflour
5mlbaking powder
46gbrown sugar
2.5mlsalt
3.75mlcinnamon
½ cuppecans
chopped
½ cupoatmeal
½ cupunsalted butter
melted
30mlheavy cream
5mlvanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375F (190C)
Step 2
Toss fruit with sugar, flour, lemon juice and water and set aside.
Step 3
For crumble, mix all ingredients together with a fork until a wet crumble forms.
Step 4
Pour fruit mixture into a shallow 10-12” oven safe casserole dish. Sprinkle the crumble evenly on top.
Step 5
NOTE: At this point you could cover and refrigerate until ready to bake. This is a great dessert to make the day before and just bake while you are having dinner, and present to the table right out of the oven.
Step 6
Bake for 25-35 mins until top is golden brown and juices begin to bubble.
Step 7
