Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment paper
Step 2
Using a stand mixer or a hand mixer cream butter for 1 minute, then add the sugars and cream for another 2-3 minutes
Step 3
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined
Step 4
In a separate bowl sift or mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt
Step 5
Beat flour mixture into wet mixture, 1/2 cup at a time
Step 6
Fold in Rice Krispies and chocolate chips
Step 7
Form dough into 18-20 balls and place on baking sheet at least 2 inches apart
Step 8
Bake for 8-9 minutes. Let cool on pan for just 1-2 minutes so they don’t continue cooking and then transfer to a cooling rack
