Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
Toss strawberries with sugar and water, then add to the bottom of a 9×13 cake pan
Step 3
Sprinkle cake mix evenly on top of the strawberries (do not mix!), then place butter slices evenly across cake mix

Bake for 35-40 minutes, until edges are bubbling and top is golden brown

Allow to cool completely before serving topped with a dollop of whipped topping
