Instructions
Step 1
Combine butter, sugar golden syrup and milk in a saucepan.
Step 2
Heat until butter is melted and mixture nearly boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and allow to cool to lukewarm
Step 3
Sift flour and baking soda together. Add to the cooled mixture. stir in well
Step 4
Roll tablespoonsful of mixture into balls and place on ungreased oven trays. flatten with a fork
Step 5
bake at 180*C for 15 to 20 mins or until golden brown
