Dee’s Crab Cakes
Dee’s Crab Cakes
1 lb crabmeat picked over
1/2 cup red bell pepper (finely chopped)
1/4 cup onion (finely chopped)
1 teas chopped parsley
1teas fresh lemon juice
Put in one bowl
1 egg beaten
1/2 teas hot sauce
2tabs Dijon mustard
2 Tabs Mayo
2 teas Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teas old bay seasoning
1/8 teas salt
3/4 cup panko or 2/3 saltine crackers crushed fine Put this in a bowl blend well ,then put it in crab mixture
Gently mix trying not to break up crabmeat put bowl in refrigerator for two hours
Generously butter a rimmed baking sheet make patties an inch thick put on baking sheet butter top of patties with melted butter
Bake at 450 for 15 mins if not brown put under broiler
for a couple mins watch closely you just want brown
