Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the Pillsbury Crescent Dough package (usually around 375°F or as specified).
Step 2
Roll Out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet into a rectangle. You can use a rolling pin to achieve an even thickness.
Step 3
Layer the Salami and Cheese: a. Arrange the slices of salami evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border along one of the longer edges. b. Lay the cheese slices on top of the salami, covering it evenly.
Step 4
Roll Up the Pinwheels: Starting from the side with the toppings, tightly roll up the puff pastry into a log. Roll until you reach the border, which should help seal the roll.
Step 5
Slice into Pinwheels: Using a sharp knife, slice the puff pastry roll into 1/2-inch to 3/4-inch thick pinwheels.
Step 6
Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the pinwheels on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, spacing them a little apart to allow for expansion.
Step 7
Bake: Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pinwheels are puffed and golden brown.
Step 8
And Voilà!: Remove the pinwheels from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy!
