Spicy Bacon Enoki Mushrooms

These enoki mushrooms make for a great quick appetizer for a bunch of people . I always make them for parties and they are the first thing to go ! This recipe can easily be doubled for a larger group . Enjoy

Instructions
Step 1
Remove packaging from the mushrooms then cut off the woody end and slice the bunch in half horizontally then wash them place on paper towels and slice length wise into 12 little bundles
enoki mushrooms200 grams
Step 2
Pat the mushrooms dry then add ssamjang, Korean hot sauce sweet chilli sauce and Chinese five spice to a bowl and mix together
Ssamjang1 Tbsp
hot sauce1 Tbsp
Chinese five spice¾ tsp
sweet chili sauce1 Tbsp
Step 3
Brush the sauce all over the front and back of the mushrooms then slice the bacon in half and wrap it around the middle section of the mushrooms . Brush on any remaining sauce then place in a baking dish and bake at 200 c / 400 f fan setting for 12 minutes or until they have a lovely color on them . Serve and enjoy
