Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180C. Line a lamington tray with baking paper.
Step 2
Spread yoghurt loosely over the base of the tray.
Step 3
Pour over the choc chips evenly.
Step 4
In a bowl, combine the flour, milk, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of the brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir until just combined, taking care not to over-mix.
Step 5
Pour mixture evenly over the choc chips and yoghurt in the tray.
Step 6
Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar over the batter. This will create the crispy, caramelised top of the cobbler once baked.
Step 7
Gently pour the hot water over the batter.
Step 8
Bake in the oven for 35 minutes.
Step 9
Allow to cool and set for 5 minutes before serving.
