Garlic Surf & Turf Fries

No but imagine this being your tea to look forward to on a Monday! 100% recommend planning a banging meal to make Monday’s that little bit better! To make these garlic surf and turf fries for two people you will need: 2 225g steaks (I used picanha from but any is fine) 200g skin on fries 10 king prawns (I get mine from Farmfoods & they are 👌🏼) 7 garlic gloves minced Olive oil Handful finely chopped parsley Salt & pepper Coat the steaks in a drizzle of oil, plenty of salt & pepper & 2 of the garlic cloves. Coat the prawns in a drizzle of oil, 2 garlic cloves & half the parsley. Cover both & marinate in the fridge for a few hours taking the steak out half an hour before cooking to bring to room temperature. Cook the fries as per the packet and then 10 mins before they are cooked place the prawns in a pan to cook. Heat a griddle pan on a high heat then add the steaks cooking for 5 mins either side and making sure the sear off the fat too. This will give you a rare/medium rare steak depending on how thick it is so leave it on for longer if you like it more well done. Remove the steaks from the pan & set to one side to rest for a few mins. Whilst the steaks are resting melt 2 tbsp butter then add the remaining garlic & parsley to it To a plate add the fries, slice up the steak & then top the fries with the steak, prawns and then pour over the garlic butter. Instructions

Step 1
Coat the steaks in a drizzle of oil, plenty of salt & pepper & 2 of the garlic cloves.
Step 2
