Instructions

Step 1
*MAKING RAW TOMATO SAUCE*

Puree tomato and fill up Mason jars (take skin and seeds off) using food processor or tomato masher machine

Put 2 basil leaves in each mason jar

Peel Garlic completely and use knife to take off the stems/butts

Dice them up (cut thin long way then thin the other way)

Peel and dice onion

Put garlic and onion in pot

Put olive oil in to surround thin layer bottom of pot

Put stove on low and wait till oil starts bubbling (simmer)

Mix around and try to chop up bigger pieces and wait for them to soften up, but don’t burn

Put 2 mason jars of tomato sauce in and mix around

Put layer of kosher salt on top, mix around

Keep oven on low, every so often check on tomato sauce to mix and taste to see if anything needs to be added

Wait 3 hours for it to simmer until ready for pasta (lets the water get taken out and everything to soak in, make it thicker)
