Instructions

1 box yellow cake mix (reserve 1 c.)

1 egg

1 stick margarine
Step 4
Mix these three well and press into greased 9 × 13 inch pan.

29 oz. can pumpkin pie mix
Step 6
1 sm. can evaporated milk

2 eggs
Step 8
Mix ingredients and pour over cake mixture in pan.

Reserved 1 c. cake mix

¼ c. sugar

¼ c. oleo
Step 12
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix as for pie crust, sprinkle on top of pumpkin. Sprinkle nuts if desired. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Serve with whipped cream.
